Q. What insurance do you accept?
We are in network with most major dental insurance providers, including but not limited to:
AETNA, CIGNA, DELTA DENTAL, GUARDIAN, METLIFE, BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD, AMERICA'S CHOICE, GEHA, AMERITAS, ANTHEM, ASSURANT, LHI, PRINCIPAL, PINNACLE, PRIMERA, BLUE CROSS and UNITED CONCORDIA.
If your PPO plan is out of network with our office, you may still be able to have the cost of your visit partially covered.
Q. How does dental insurance work?
Dental insurance is quite different than medical insurance. Most dental plans only cover procedures up to a certain dollar amount each year after which the patient is responsible for any additional balances. The main benefit of having dental insurance comes in the form of having a contracted reduced fee schedule, which lowers the prices of procedures.
Things to look out for: (We can help you evaluate your plan to avoid any surprises)
Exclusions: Some dental insurance policies have exclusions, which do not cover specific procedures.
Missing tooth clause: these policies do not cover procedures to replace missing teeth
Waiting period: many policies have a waiting period before they will cover larger procedures like crowns or implants.
Q. What if I do not have dental insurance?
You are in good company, many families do not have dental coverage. At Northern Heights Dental we offer an affordable discount plan called SPARC. Our office staff are skilled at helping you find the most affordable way to keep your smile happy and healthy
Q. How can I make a payment?
Payments can be made over the phone or in person. Secured online payment will be available soon. We accept all major credit cards, cash, checks and money orders.
